Reading - Fear Of The Dark

Fear Of The Dark by Walter Mosley

When his cousin Ulysses "Useless" Grant shows up at the door of his bookstore, Paris knows it means just one thing. Trouble. The last time Useless dropped by for a drink Paris ended up with a stash of gold chains in his toilet and the LAPD knocking at his door. He's not going to make the same mistake again. If there's one thing Paris Minton doesn't like, it's trouble.

But when Useless's mother comes tot LA to look for her son, Paris finds himself relenting. Not least because bad things happen tot anyone who dares to cross his aunt. Recruiting his friend and bodyguard Fearless Jones, he sets out to look for Useless. He doesn't find his cousin but he does discover a whole world of trouble.....
