20 years old of yarns - Purple Vest is finished

Has not posted any knitting for a long time. It is glad that to used up some aged stash - this purple vest (previous posts) has been finished a couple of month ago but Hong Kong is too hot to model it outside. Just picture it at home.

Pattern : my own - The upper part is using checker pattern and the lower part is just st.st.
Yarn : Jaeger Luxury Spun DK
material : 90% wool / 10% alpaca
usage : 5 x 50g

It is no mood to knit anything under such hot climate but I am thinking of sewing.

Let the Baby yarn tells you how it fits to an adult and not limited to baby only.

Usage : 5 balls x 50g/200m
Needle : 2.75mm for the body, 3mm for the border

Nothing can be said for this vest, just a simple one. Let the pictures tell you .

Finished Finished Finished

My friend's purple v-lace and cable vest is finally finished.

yarn : Mondial Extrafine - 100% pure New Wool (Made in Italy)
length : 50g/175m
needle : 3.5mm
usage : 6 skeins
pattern : just pick up this and that from a Chinese stitch patterns book

And, she is modelling her vest :

When knitting such a large size vest, I have some queries :
1. should the front size wider than the back ?
2. if not, should decrease the front side's armhole more stitches than the back at the beginning the several rows, of course, the shoulder stitches will become the same ?
for this vest, the no. of stitches and the armhole decreased stitches are all the same.

Start Lace Shawl

The vest is finished. I knit as quickly as I can for I can't stop thinking the flower basket shawls. The pattern of this vest is nice that I really love it.

Now, I can start the flower basket shawls. Will post the picture when I have progress on it. Wait and see.
